Original Apple, fully tested and deep cleaned, Blueberry M4848 'hockey puck' USB mouse that shipped with the slot loading Blueberry iMac G3 and later blue & white PowerMac G3s. It is a slightly different colour to the "Bondi" blue mouse that shipped with the first 1998 iMacs, and has an indentation on the button which Apple added to help prevent the mouse rotating during use. It also has a grey and white ball rather than blue and white in the Bondi mouse, and a grey retaining ring rather than th light blue on the revision 1 mice. The revision 2 PCB on this mouse is white on top and although functionally interchangeable, the earlier revision 1 PCB that shipped with the tray loading iMacs is green on both sides which affects the appearance of the mouse from above.
It has a 60cm cable and one button, although it will function on any computer with USB.
We completely disassemble and clean them inside and out. All hockey puck mice originally had a matt coating applied to the coloured inserts but over time this gets very tacky and dirty, and eventually rubs off. As this has affected all the mice we see, we do not take this into account in the grading and all our puck mice will have been thoroughly cleaned taking the plastic back to its natural gloss surface.
